Wrath Tempest has always been the caretaker in his family.  As the eldest, he helped care for all of the younger children. When tragedy struck their family, he held them all together until they could each stand on their own.  

In business with his brothers and sisters, Wrath seems content with his life.  One woman who just won’t take no for an answer manages to find her way into not just his family, but into his heart.  

Val Collins made it through her childhood with only her sister to count on.  When their mother led them into a dangerous situation, they were able to escape with the help of their stepfather.  Once they were free, Val had more responsibilities than she expected, but she met the challenges head-on and made a life for herself.
